The Second Week of CYAN Testnet Deployment!
This week marks the second week of BASEDAI’s second testnet, CYAN! Launched on June 17, 2024, with new architecture and fresh documentation, the blocks have been moving along! For more information, check out the related blog here.
Beeple selected a number of artists from our PepePaint artists to feature at PepeFest
On June 19, 2024, Beeple - who first came to popularity for his EVERYDAYS collection - issued a call to all artists: submit your most dank Pepe-based art creation and compete to be featured at PepeFest* and a chance to receive cash prizes!
Our community who regularly create art and mint it through PepePaint - a tool that was created and provided by the project - were thrilled for the opportunity to showcase their work on a larger stage!
Many submitted art they had created already and some designed new works of art! Submissions closed June 24 and, by June 25, different holders in our community started receiving emails to say their pieces were chosen!
Much love to everyone who submitted their works of art to honor the king of frogs, and congratulations to those who were selected!
* PepeFest is an event Beeple is holding on Aug 10, 2024 in South Carolina and was made free for PepeCoin holders.
Community Spotlight!
Our Community continues to absolutely crush it with self-produced content for existing and prospective hodlers to enjoy! Sometimes, they entertain! Sometimes, they inform! But they’re always kickass and made with love.
Here are some from the last week — and also heads-up, we have a new section on this site called Community Corner — where you can go to see compiled community content as well.
Our friends, @zengangster and @hash_producer, have started a podcast called The Feels Good Show — and its debut episode was glorious! They introduce themselves, how they got into web3 and, specifically, PepeCoin and Based. And had great discussion about the PC ecosystem, special BasedAI network features, and its larger market potential. Have a listen and tune in each week! (Also available on Spotify.)
Looking for some quick updates and alpha? BP Crypto, the legend, has you covered with fun video and voiceover describing the latest updates from the project, related ideas/concepts, and some price talk. He has a new one to check out, “Is PepeCoin ready to moon?”. Subscribe to his YouTube channel to get notifications for new content he publishes on the regular!
